IN SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT

Texas Christian University invites applications for the non-tenure track position of Associate or Full Professor of Professional Practice of Supply Chain Management in the Neeley School of Business beginning August 2019.
The supply chain area at Neeley includes a vibrant mix of scholars who also embrace teaching and student mentoring. We are looking for a colleague with a rich background in the supply chain industry and a desire to facilitate interactions between students and industry partners. Preference will be given to candidates who provide evidence of excellence in teaching. An interest in logistics, supply chain analytics, and/or experience with SAP is desirable. Candidates for the position should possess a Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or a related field, and university teaching experience in Supply Chain Management. The base teaching load is 4-4 (eight 3-credit hour sections per year) with opportunities for additional summer teaching. This teaching load may be reduced to 3-3 if the candidate is able to take on the administrative role of Director of the Masters of Supply Chain Management (MS-SCM) program. Responsibilities include promoting the program, recruiting and advising MS-SCM students, supervising field studies, and coordinating with Neeley’s Center for Supply Chain Innovation.
