Your Role

The Business Analyst, Senior position supports InterPlan by providing analytical support and generating reports for and supporting enhancements, mandates, and strategic initiatives. This position provides analysis and solutions and recommend interventions where appropriate. The Business Analyst, Senior will report to the Director, Account Management (Non-Sales). In this role, you will work independently or collaborate on assignments that support the strategic team initiatives and deliverables.

Your Work

In this role, you will:

• Provide analytical support through the analysis and interpretation of data in support of cross-functional business operations
• Develop, prepare and analyze reports for management review, and present to various levels of management
• Define business requirements and provide analysis to increase operational efficiency
• Analyze actual results against plan and forecast and recommend interventions where appropriate
• Assist in developing, preparing, and using critical thinking skills to provide analysis of reports for management review
• Assist in defining business requirements and provides analysis to increase operational efficiency for deliverables
• Assist to drive the implementation of large-scale initiatives that support sales and membership initiatives

Your Knowledge and Experience

• Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Requires at least 5 years of prior relevant experience
• Knowledge of health plan operations and competitor marketplace
• Requires advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel with the ability to summarize large data sets
• Basic Project Management skills preferred
• Ability to use interpersonal skills to influence without direct authority

Pay Range:

The pay range for this role is: $ 77990.00 to $ 116930.00 for California.
