As the Associate Director you will create and execute a recruiting and yielding strategy, and lead the recruiting and yielding team for the Graduate Programs both in residence and online. In addition to designing and executing all recruiting and yielding efforts with the support of the entire Graduate Office, work closely with the program team leads in creating awareness and attract highly qualified applicants to enroll in our programs. Report to the Executive Director of the Graduate Programs and serve as part of the senior leadership team that will lead a team of at least 5+ full-time individuals and several graduate assistants. Krannert seeks to continue providing quality management educational programs through attracting top talent to be placed in positions in top corporations and organizations.

 

This position will consider a temporary option to work remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic, but will return to being office-based

 

Required:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or Communication
  • 6 years work experience in recruiting and/or sales
  • Excellent leadership, management and team building skills
  • Ability to collaborate with and engage diverse populations including international students, corporate leadership, undergraduate students, and seasoned professionals
  • Must be able to develop and manage budgets, and achieve enrollment targets defined by school leadership
  • Demonstrated initiative, creative thinking problem-solving capacity, organizational and planning skills
  • Passion for student engagement, student development, and management education
  • Must have valid US driver’s license
  • Must be able to travel overnight, as well as evenings, and weekend work. Total travel (domestic and international) could be as much as 25% annually and 50% June – December
  • Outstanding written and oral communications skills, and customer service skills
  • Must be proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook)

 


Preferred:

  • Masters or MBA degree OR equivalent combination of Bachelors degree and professional work experience
  • 10+ years work experience in recruiting and/or sales
  • Knowledge of Admissions Systems and CRM desired

 

Additional Information:

  • Purdue will not sponsor employment authorization for this position
  • A background check will be required for employment in this position
  • FLSA: Exempt (Not Eligible For Overtime)
  • Retirement Eligibility: Defined Contributions immediately
