This position is a temporary position with the intention to find a long-term employee to fill the Senior Accounts Payable position for Emory University, central Finance department.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years AP experience
  • PeopleSoft Financials
  • Jagger, Salesforce
  • Emory Express - workflow management software
  • AP experience in Higher Ed environment
  • Process DataRequests
  • Wire payments and Treasury
  • Extreme attention to Detail and proficiency in completing work
  • Experience with 1099's & Vendor Management
Job Description:
  • Processes accounts payable charges to ensure the timely and accurate payment of incurred expenses.
  • Analyzes vendor invoices to ensure charges are accurate, reconciles discrepancies between internal data and invoices, and resolves any issues with the vendor.
  • Processes stop payment requests and voids checks in coordination with Accounting.
  • Maintains required record-keeping and databases.
  • Serves as a resource to departments, staff and vendors for accounts payable related questions/issues.
  • Performs related responsibilities as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three years of accounts payable or related experience.
