Job Summary:Affiliate faculty, also known as adjunct or part-time faculty are contracted per class from time to time as class instructors. These are experienced and practicing accounting professionals with the capability of effectively promoting learning within individual courses and programs. Our affiliate faculty all have a minimum of a Masters' degree, or a CPA license, and professional experience in fields related to the courses they teach.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
The affiliate faculty member will teach 16 and 8-week undergraduate or graduate accounting classes for the Accounting and Finance Department on a contracted bases, per class availability in the Anderson College of Business and Computing. Affiliate faculty may also assist in course development.
A relevant bachelor's degree, such as business, finance, or accounting and a master's degree in accounting or related master's degree with a minimum of 15 graduate semester hours in accounting from an institution that was, at the time it was conferred, accredited by a regional accrediting association is required. Successful candidates will have recent, substantive, and relevant professional experience in a senior accounting position (minimum 5 years).
Certified Public Accountant (Active), other licenses, such as CMA, CGMA, CIA, CFE, will be considered for specific courses.
Work Schedule: This affiliate faculty member will instruct 16 and/or 8 week courses
Pay Rate:Between $2,500 - 3,225 per course contract
