The Bellarmine University MBA program seeks a part-time adjunct faculty member in Marketing who will teach Marketing Systems and Processes in our Weekend MBA program during the fall 2021 semester. This course examines marketing tactics, strategies and implementation issues within a firm.
Marketing Systems and Processes (MBA 605) is to be offered Saturday mornings from 8:30am- noon on August 21st and 28th, September 11th and 25th, October 16th and 30th, November 13th and December 4th. In addition, there is a possibility that we may need an instructor for another section of MBA 605 in our Weeknight MBA program on either Monday or Wednesday evenings in fall.
The successful candidate will perform tasks designed to ensure the quality and consistency of academic instruction. The successful candidate will also demonstrate an ability and commitment to cultivate learning environments that are equitable and inclusive of students with diverse social identities and backgrounds.
Job Requirements: *
- A doctorate or master's degree in Marketing (or comparable), or an MBA with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in Marketing
- A strong commitment to excellence in teaching adult learners
- Relevant work experience and demonstrated ability to integrate theory and practice, preferred.
The teaching load will be three credit hours in the fall semester of 2021, but there is a possibility for renewal in the future. Contracts are issued on a semester by semester basis. Candidates should embody the University's commitment to student success, and inclusive excellence.
