NorthWest Arkansas Community College is seeking qualified applicants to establish a pool for part-time and/or substitute instructors in the Certified Retail Analyst (CRA) certification program. Preferred candidates for these positions must be seasoned/experienced retail industry professionals with at least 5 years of Retail Link Decision Support experience.
This retail industry program develops and prepares students to enter the retail industry as competent entry-level employees by teaching them the fundamentals of retail analysis that lead to sales and market share growth. This program is well respected in the Walmart and Walmart supplier community.
Courses taught in this program include: CRA Intro to MS Office 2013, Adv. Excel & Access for Retail, Retail Industry Foundations, Retail Link Data Management, Retail Supply Chain & Replenishment, Retail Tools Integration, Retail Strategic Analysis and Retail Analytical Techniques (capstone class).
These courses are aimed for individuals that work during the day and take classes in the evening. These majority of these courses are taught one night a week from 6:00 – 9:00 pm. As a result of COVID, we have been operating in a virtual environment with live webinars.
Applications will be kept on file for the fiscal year ending June 30. When a position becomes available, the hiring department will review the applications on file. After each fiscal year end the application will expire and a new application must be completed to remain in the applicant pool.

Part-time positions are not an immediate hire. They are a resource for each department to go to for their immediate needs.
Rate of pay: $2,475 per semester
Preferred candidates for these positions must be seasoned/experienced retail industry professionals from the Walmart CPG/supplier community, Walmart, Sam’s Club, or 3rd party providers. A bachelor’s degree is desired, but not a requirement. A minimum of 5 years of Retail Link Decision Support and retail industry experience is required.
Depending on the opening, additional extensive experience utilizing one or more of the following applications may also be desired: Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Tableau, Power BI, Power Query and Power Pivot.
