Position Summary
Victoria College is hiring for a full-time, benefits eligible, Director of Title V Program.  This position is responsible for directing, implementing, and reporting on the College’s Title V Grant Program.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide administrative and programmatic leadership for the Title V Program.
Convene and serve as part of the Title V Task Force. 
Maintain, monitor, reconcile, and adjust as needed all activity budgets and the overall grant budget.
Provide interim and final reports on the project to the Victoria College President, Executive Vice President – Chief Academic Officer, and Vice President of Student Services; as well as mandatory annual, final, and/or ad hoc reports to the US Department of Education. 
Ensure that Title V activities and improvements are integrated into the fabric of the College. 
Assist with implementation of the grant’s programmatic and evaluation activities as needed.
Have extensive knowledge of Title V legislation, applicable regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance throughout the project period. 
Communicate with Department of Education staff concerning the approved plan, budget revisions, activity progress, etc. 
Participate in the Title V listserv. 
Attend conferences/workshops pertaining to administration of a Title V grant or activities.  
Maintain comprehensive records of all expenditures charged to the Title V budget.
Master’s degree from an accredited university in Education or related field such as Public Administration, Business, or Psychology;
Five years’ experience with federally funded grant programs required;
A minimum of two years fiscal management experience required;
Sensitivity to the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, ethnic, and disability backgrounds of community college students and employees; 
Demonstrated ability to analyze data/conduct project evaluations, manage large projects, and build effective teams. 
 Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle controls, key pads, etc. Will be required to sit and reach with hands and arms as well as, sit, stand and walk. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds while loading office supplies and paper. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, some color vision, and the ability to adjust focus from documents to computer screen. Hearing of light to moderate sound is required by this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
